It is hard to believe punk pioneers Social Distortion’s self-titled album is turning 25 years old. In honor of this achievement Mike Ness and band are on tour and they brought their party Wednesday September 3 to the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado. The band played this historic album in its entirety to a sold-out revved up crowd. The band was tight and delivered a powerful high energy set of punk, blues, alt-country, and rockabilly flavored songs. A show from Social Distortion would not be complete without a stream of crowd surfers and a mosh pit opening up in the center allowing the fans to criss cross swinging into each other.
