If you thought last years tour of Slayer, Lamb of God, and Behemoth was massive, then you’re about to be blown away by just how much heavier the potential follow up tour could get. Rumor has it that the heavy metal trio will tour once again, only this time joined by fellow heavy metal heavy hitters Anthrax and Testament.
These five bands are set to perform on June 4 at the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania according to Live Nation. While word of having a full fledged tour of North America is just a rumor at this point, we will certainly see what will come to fruition, as there has not been an official statement made on this matter.
Both Slayer and Anthrax are coming off of massive years in 2017. Slayer, Lamb of God and Behemoth tore up the stage on tour, which resulted in Slayer filming a brand new live DVD at The Forum in Los Angeles, CA, which is set for a release in the near future. Anthrax also had a very successful year with Killswitch Engage on their “Killthrax” tour, which is set to pick up again this year, as the two bands look to do another round of tour dates together.
