Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash has sold his mansion in Beverly Hills for a whopping $8.7 million, a bit of a deal compared to the price that Slash had initially looked to sell the house back in June, 2015 for $10.995 million.
The new owner of the house is rapper Big Sean, who is now the newest resident in the Mulholland Estates, a lovely gated community above the hills, with a line of high end neighbors. During Slash’s time in the residence, his neighbors included the likes of Vanna White, Paris Hilton, Greg Mathis, and Charlie Sheen.
The nearly 11,000 square foot Tuscan style villa comes equipped with all the bells and whistles one could ask for. The house was certainly fit for a rockstar, including such amenities as a dramatic two-story entry, state-of-the-art theater, massive double center island kitchen, amazingly unique lower level nightclub/entertainment room with an elevated DJ booth and custom LED lighting, and a soundproof recording studio that can be easily converted back to a guest suite, and so much more.
Slash’s ex-wife Perla, whom the the two were married for 13 years, had originally purchased the house for $7.3 million in 2009. The two have since divorced as of December, 2014 due to “irreconcilable differences.” They both have two children, 15-year-old London and 13-year-old Cash, who Slash has requested joint custody of.
With the hard work of selling the house behind him now, Slash has some extra money in his back pocket now, which is chump change compared to the amount of money he’s making thanks to the massive success of Guns N’ Roses’ current “Not In This Lifetime” tour. The band will finish things off at home tonight (November 29th), as they perform at The Forum to cap off yet another amazing run in the U.S. until they head back out to Europe next summer.
