M. Shadows, frontman for multi-platinum rock band Avenged Sevenfold, is spotlighted as a playable character in “Operation Apocalypse Z,” the just-released update to Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4.
Shadows’ character is available on all platforms beginning today via the game’s brand-new Zombie-themed Blackout mode.
“Operation Apocalypse Z” is the latest in a series of high-profile collaborations between Grammy nominees Avenged Sevenfold and Call of Duty®: Black Ops developer Treyarch. In a brand-new video interview Shadows discusses the making of his character, his love of gaming and the band’s longtime relationship with Treyarch.
Avenged Sevenfold has contributed original music to all four Call of Duty®: Black Ops games, beginning with “Not Ready To Die (Call Of Duty: Black Ops), followed by “Carry On” (Call Of Duty®: Black Ops II), “Jade Helm” (Call Of Duty®: Black Ops III) and most recently “Mad Hatter” (Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4). All four songs are available on Black Reign (Warner Records).
