Jerry Cantrell’s 2002 solo effort “Degradation Trip Volumes 1 & 2” will be issued on vinyl for the first time next month. The four-LP set will be pressed on yellow, red and black 180-gram vinyl and is limited to 2,000 individually numbered copies. A February 15 arrival in North America is expected.
The original “Degradation Trip” was released in June 2002.
Cantrell told The Pulse Of Radio at the time that “Degradation Trip” was the most “personal and self-digging” album he’d ever written. “It’s the deepest I’ve gone in my writing both musically and lyrically,” he said. “So it’s a very personal journey this record to me. It’s an incredible record.”
