Imagine Dragons Set To Release New Album ‘Origins’ In November

Imagine Dragons will release their fourth album, Origins, next month. The effort is the follow up to their 2017 effort Evolve, which spawned the huge hits “Believer” and “Thunder.” It will be released on Nov. 9.

Frontman Dan Reynolds says: “There’s a lot of clarity on that record (Evolve), both sonically and I think as a band. We just kept creating and so we had these songs we created after Evolve, where we thought we could wait a couple years I guess, like bands are supposed to and put it out… but then it will be irrelevant. So we thought, ‘Well, this is a new world of music why don’t we put it out right now.’”

Reynolds adds, “It feels like a sister album to Evolve, it kind of completes the cycle to us. It’s fresh, it feels green and it feels healthy… we’re all really proud of it. Evolve is like where am I going, I know there’s color, there’s something new and Origins is this is where you are going and it’s a bright future.”

Imagine Dragons recently released their new song “Zero,” which is featured on the album as well as the Ralph Breaks the Internet film soundtrack.
