American heavy metal masters Hellyeah’s Blood for Blood tour poured into the Summit Music Hall Saturday February 14, 2015. The tour stop in Denver, CO was in of support their fourth full album release ‘Blood for Blood’ released in the summer of 2014. On this Valentine’s Day night the band was in true form with two new members in the band truly voicing their love for heavy metal music. The band played a ripping heavy set of songs that spanned all of their releases including older classics such as opener Hellyeah! and the epic Band of Brothers. Other highlights included two new songs Sangre por Sangre (Blood for Blood) and current single Moth. Lead singer Chad Gray often paused in-between songs proclaiming his love of heavy metal music and how it shaped his upbringing and urging the crowd the go crazy and have a great time. No live Hellyeah show would be rolling without the thunderous sticks of Vinne Paul on drums. Vinnie lays down his legendary grooves throughout and launches from his drum stool at the end of most songs pumping his fists and feeding the crowd. At the end of the evening if you weren’t there to celebrate love you came away with at least a fantastic night of heavy metal music.
