Last month festival organizers announced that the 2012 edition of the Chicago Riot fest was being upgraded from a multi-venue event into an outdoor music festival and carnival. After Friday, Sept. 14’s show at the Congress Theatre, the fun moves outside on Saturday and Sunday to Chicago’s Humboldt Park, complete with three main music stages, rides, games, vendors and gourmet food trucks. Sounds like a party to us!
Single-day passes are now on sale. A limited number of Friday tickets are available for $39.98. Saturday and Sunday tickets are priced at $34.50 each. VIP Saturday and Sunday tickets are also available for $99 each. VIP perks include access to VIP lounges with a private bar, VIP viewing area near the stage and 10 beverage tickets. Three-day passes are sold out. Two-day (Sept. 15-16) general admission and VIP passes are still available, priced at $49.99 for GA and $155 for VIP. Tickets to the Chicago show can be purchased here.
Riot Fest is also returning for the second year to Philadelphia’s Festival Pier July 19 and expanding to Brooklyn, N.Y. (Sept. 8); Toronto (Sept. 9) and Dallas (Sept. 22). Tickets for all of the shows can be purchased at RiotFest.org
