Guns N’ Roses “November Rain” Video Sets YouTube Record

According to Forbes, Guns N’ Roses is the biggest musical act on YouTube for both the 1980s and 1990s. The band’s video for the classic ballad “November Rain”, which was first released 26 years ago, is the first music video from the 1990s to reach the billion-view milestone. The song averaged nearly 560,000 views every day in 2017.

Other Guns N’ Roses music videos that have received significant views include “Sweet Child O’ Mine” (692 million), “Don’t Cry” (471 million) and “Estranged” (111 million).

Guns N’ Roses’ classic 1987 debut album, “Appetite For Destruction”, recently returned to the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart after more than 29 years. The LP re-entered the chart at No. 10, following its “Locked N’ Loaded” box reissue on June 29.
