Guns N’ Roses and Metallica Make Top 10 Highest Paid Musicians List

In today’s world in which pop music runs shop in terms of high demand, equaling high levels of success and money, it’s not hard to guess who may be raking in the most dough this year from their touring schedules. It’s not everyday that you see hard rock/metal bands making the Forbes list for the highest earning performers in music, but this year is unlike any other year.

With the continuing success of both Metallica and Guns N’ Roses tours, the two bands are striking gold, having made a heavy metal load of cash that has put them on the Forbes list.

The high level of interest garnered by Guns N’ Roses “Not In This Lifetime” tour brought in the stream of fans that have waited years to see a nearly complete reunion. As for Metallica, their “WorldWired” tour with Avenged Sevenfold and Gojira made for a good impression on fans as well, who had waited eight years to see the four horseman back together.

With their respected tours, Guns N’ Roses took a very impressive position as number 6 on the list with a whopping $84 million, and Metallica making the 10th position with $66.5 million. The fun certainly doesn’t stop their for either of these bands, as the touring madness will surely continue. Guns N’ Roses have already planned ahead for a tour of Europe in 2018, and it’ll only be a matter of time before they plan yet another round of dates in the U.S.
