Five Finger Death Punch: Live at World Arena

Five Finger Death Punch played a slew of hits new and old when they headlined Colorado Springs’ Broadmoor World Arena. The Got Your Six Tour also brought out Papa Roach and In This Moment, who had the tour’s Six. Talented female fronted In This Moment started the night off with songs that metal fans, particularly the girls, have come to know and love, roaring up the crowd with their six song set including wardrobe changes and skeleton makeup. Then, P-Roach took the stage and really made it a party with songs from their lengthy career selection, from “Between Angels and Insect” to “Face Everything and rise” and everything in between.

The show evidently turned more into a P-Roach show as they were well received last time in CO Springs back in 2011, barely selling out the arena with headliners Buckcherry and Puddle of Mudd at the time. Lately, the arena has attracted a stronger rock demographic to the region and the turn out for this one was much more than pleasing. The fun was already in full swing by the time 5FDP took the stage, kicking off with “Lift me up”. Ivan Moody, a Colorado native however incorrectly addressed the crowd as Denver, but embarrassment aside made up for it in an electrifying set with new hits from their most recent release “Got your six” and slipping into the self titled track and a handful of more.
