British grunge band Bush brought their latest tour to the Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO Thursday night February 4, 2015. Los Angeles based Stars in Stereo and Canadian rockers Theory of a Deadman opened the show. Gavin Rossdale and bandmates are currently on tour in support of their latest 6th studio release Man on the Run and chart single “The Only Way Out”. This tours setlist contained a solid nineteen songs expanding all of their six releases including five new songs from their current release. The strength of this tour is not only the songs but the overall production of the show including video being projected behind the band during the entire set. I think they accomplish this better that most bands incorporating videos and images that actually compliment and even make you see the songs a different way. The band sounded strong and Rossdale is a very solid and engaging frontman. The crowds reactions and participation were in full force during the hit singles from the 6x platinum album Sixteen Stone. The set concluded with the hugely popular “Glycerine” and “Comedown”. It is hard to believe that back in the 90’s Bush was as popular as Nirvana. In 2015 were are so glad they are still creating new music and sharing it with all of the fans.
