Black Label Society Releases New Video For “Trampled Down Below”

Black Label Society has released a video for the song “Trampled Down Below”. The clip was directed by Dan Sturgess and filmed at the world-famous Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington, London during the band’s European tour earlier this year. The track is taken from the band’s tenth full-length album, “Grimmest Hits”, which was released on January 19 via Entertainment One (eOne).

Regarding the songwriting process for “Grimmest Hits”, BLS frontman Zakk Wylde told the Omaha World-Herald: “The only ideas I really had [prior to going into the studio] were ‘The Only Words’. I wrote that when I was sitting in a hotel room. It reminded me of a CREAM thing. The only other riff I had laying around was ‘Trampled Down Below’.

“Every record that we do, it’s like a box of cracker jacks,” he continued. “We don’t know what we’re gonna get till we get there.

“That’s the whole fun thing about making records. You’re going in with, ‘Let’s see what happens.’
