Avenged Sevenfold Return To Philadelphia For Free Rescheduled Show

Avenged Sevenfold took time out of their busy tour schedule to make good with the fans who attended the Metallica show on the second date of the WorldWired tour.

Avenged Sevenfold were forced to pull out of the Philadelphia date with Metallica when Synyster Gates and his wife were expecting their first child.  She went into labor earlier than expected and the band officially announced that they have rescheduled the show and will perform at the BB&T Pavilion on June 21.

The band posted the following statement to their Facebook:

“Attention Philly fans! We will be back on June 21 @ the BB&T Pavilion to honor anyone who missed us last night on the “World Wired Tour.” Now you will get the FULL Stage experience as a token of our appreciation for your understanding as we all welcomed the newest healthy and happy member to the A7X family!!! All ticketing details regarding the show will be announced this Monday.”

Bassist Johnny Christ who had just become a father also flew home to be present for the birth of his new child while the band was on their The Stage world tour in Europe.

The band not only kept their promise, the fans got the full stage experience, and the band appreciated everyone’s understanding as they welcomed the newest member of the Avenged Sevenfold family into the world. All ticket buyers of the Philadelphia ‘WorldWired Tour’ received an e-mail on with instructions on how to redeem tickets to the make up show at BB&T Pavilion on Wednesday night.
