5 Seconds Of Summer win Worst Band Award

NME Magazine held their annual award show tonight, and the Australian “punk rock band,” 5 Seconds Of Summer have been graced with the Worst Band title for the third year in a row and managed to beat out Chainsmokers, Clean Bandit, Honey G, Nickelback and Twenty One Pilots.

Hosted by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens, the NME Awards 2017 took place at the O2 Academy Brixton in the U.K. Before 5SOS, the Worst Band winner was the 1975 who were among the Best Band nominees this time around. If there was ever another band worthy of a Worst Band Award, it’s 5 Seconds of Summer. Suck it.
